There isn't anything very exciting going on today. The sun is shining. The weather actually looks really nice out. I wish I could ride, but it's too dangerous when it's windy like it is today---at least for when DH is not home. The girls are out in their fence right now to enjoy the sun. I also opened the windows in the bedroom to air out.
My friend from down the road came by for tea today. It was a nice visit. She is in between jobs at the moment, but at least can keep busy with her mother who just got moved into a different retirement home.
My hands are aching a lot. I have used them too much lately, probably mostly with trying to type in Danish. Dragon NaturallySpeaking can only do English of my languages. But at least I will be getting to keep it. I got the official final paperwork from the government today. They are definitely paying for it and letting me keep it.
The only news other than that is that I'm making pancakes for dinner and I'm working on doing the dishes.
Two old friends from work are hopefully coming to visit at the end of April. I am getting excited and impatient to see them already.

About This Blog
This blog is intended to cover all the stuff that doesn't fit in the dog blog, which I have had for a while. A lot of it will be about dealing with life with a disability.
I have multiple medical conditions that limit my mobility and cause constant pain, difficulty sleeping, and issues with mental function. I am always struggling to keep LIVING and not let my health problems take over completely.
Additional topics will probably include our horses and western riding, leather projects, writing and editing, and anything else I think of or get interested in.
You're welcome to read it if you are interested or pass it on to others that might be.

Error Warning
My health gives me difficulties typing. Most entries are made using a voice-to-text system that is prone to a number of errors, such as using a similarly pronounced word instead of what I meant, skipping words, or adding inappropriate punctuation.
If I do type an entry, it is bound to be filled with typos because of the problems with my hands.
Because my main focus with the blog is to keep in touch with people, I will not be investing huge amounts of energy into fixing these issues. I'd rather put that energy into other projects, like my own writing.
The quality of the English and grammar here is not a true reflection of my writing or editing ability.
If I do type an entry, it is bound to be filled with typos because of the problems with my hands.

- Bex and the Bookends
- Bex is the handicapped human. Molly is a trained SD now, but mostly only works at home. Shawnee is probably going to be an SDIT eventually, but is mostly just a puppy now.
